How to Register for AP POLYCET 2026 Phase 1 Counselling

Follow these step-by-step instructions to complete the registration process:

  • Step 1: Visit the official AP POLYCET portal at polycet.ap.gov.in.
  • Step 2: Click on the “Online Certificates Verification & Fee Payment” tab on the homepage.
  • Step 3: Enter your AP POLYCET 2026 Hall Ticket Number, Rank, and Aadhaar Number in the required fields.
  • Step 4: Provide your educational details from Class 4 to Class 10, and select the respective districts of study. Click “Get Region” to verify your local area status.

Step by Step Counselling Process

The counselling process involves the following stages:

1. Fee Payment This is the first mandatory step. Candidates pay the counselling processing fee online. The payment receipt must be kept safely, as it is needed for the document verification stage.

2. Document Verification All eligible candidates must either complete online certificate verification or report to AP POLYCET Helpline Centres (HLCs) for physical document verification. Upon successful verification, candidates receive a ‘Receipt of Certificates’.

3. Web Option Entry (College & Course Selection) Candidates log in to the portal on the scheduled dates and enter their preferred polytechnic colleges and courses in order of preference. After finalising, they must lock the choices and take a printout. Candidates can also visit HLCs for assisted option entry.

4. Change of Web Options A one-day window on July 4, 2026 is provided to modify already-entered choices.

5. Seat Allotment Based on merit rank, category, and the preferences entered, the authorities release the seat allotment result on July 6, 2026. Who Is Eligible for AP POLYCET 2026 Spot Round Counselling?
